Celebrate Black History Month (Feb 1-Mar 1) at The Bay!
This landmark love story returns just in time for Valentine’s week, celebrating courage, connection, and the power of choosing each other.
(PG) – A white couple’s liberal ideals are challenged when their daughter introduces them to her black fiancé.
Come hungry and thirsty! The Nest Café will be serving delicious food, fresh popcorn and refreshing drinks.
Bring your blankets, chairs, and friends to add even more comfort and fun.

Know Before You Go:
- The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236
- Free parking is located around the site and all parking lots remain open — along Blvd of the Arts and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Construction of the new Town Square (located between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center) is underway and affects pedestrian routes between the parking lot along N. Tamiami Trail and venues west of Van Wezel Way (incl. The Bay park, Van Wezel, and Holley Hall). Signs are posted to direct you between these locations.
