In the spirit of Jimmy Stewart’s May birthday, watch this classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller about a retired police detective (Jimmy Stewart) whose extreme fear of heights is put to the test as he investigates an acquaintance’s wife (Kim Novak).
(PG) – “Vertigo,” directed by Alfred Hitchcock, isa suspenseful and romantic thriller about a former San Francisco police detective, John “Scottie” Ferguson, who suffers from acrophobia and is hired to investigate the strange behavior of a friend’s wife, Madeleine, only to become obsessed with her and the doppelganger he later encounters.
