Join a lunchtime discussion about urban resilience and the innovative strategy behind microforests with local eco-expert Charles Reith, PhD!

In celebration of Florida Arbor Day, enjoy a conversation with Dr. Reith as he describes the theory and planting strategy behind the high-performance microforests that have been planted in Manatee and Sarasota Counties as fast-growing agents of increased resilience. Dr. Reith will also speak to his experiences while a professor at Tulane University understanding the important role of trees during Hurricane Katrina as agents of protection against the ravages of tropical storms.
