Every Sunday, experience a talented local performer at this free, music concert series in the park. Enjoy a range of music genres. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing along or up on your feet dancing!

About Speak Easy

With effusive lyrics, danceable energy, tasteful electric guitar solos, tight harmonies, and groove-driven rhythm, this four-piece band delivers an undeniably positive vibe to any room. Fueled by sincere passion for making people move and strong desire to entertain, it is hard to find something not to like about these guys who speak nice and easy in person, too. With singer/guitarist Eric Yoder, singer/keyboardist K. Sahagian, singer/bassist Brendon Porter, and drummer Jack Clements, this group delivers the right mix of classic style, well-developed musicianship, and a sunny disposition that is winning over fun-loving fans of all ages.

Know Before You Go:

• The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota FL 34236
• Free parking is located around the site and all parking lots remain open — along Blvd of the Arts and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
• Construction of the new Town Square (located between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center) is underway and affects pedestrian routes between the parking lot along N. Tamiami Trail and venues west of Van Wezel Way (incl. The Bay park, Van Wezel, and Holley Hall). Signs are posted to direct you between these locations. • Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
• All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
• Please report any risky or unsafe behavior to the Sarasota Non-Emergency Police 24 hours a day (941) 316-1199.

NOTE: This event will happen rain or shine. Based on Florida’s unpredictable weather, location decisions will often be made closer to the time of the event. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved INDOORS to the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236). Location changes or event cancellations will be posted on The Bay website calendar, Eventbrite, Facebook and Instagram up to one hour before start time, as weather changes quickly.
