Enjoy a free performance by Rye Road at The Bay! The Dawg Pound food truck will be at The Bay during this special performance. Plus! 20% off drinks for Dads all day at The Nest concession.
Rye Road has been rocking audiences up and down the Gulf Coast of Florida for over a decade. Their sound, with its unique blend of new country and rock, is driven by Pete Tamburin’s incredible, emotional vocals and country-influenced guitar, combined with Dan “Duckie” Garridos rock solid drums and amazing high harmonies. Add the energetic and booming bass lines of Bryant Crawford and the soaring keyboards of Tim Meyer, mix it all together and you get a sound that will have you dancing and partying all night long!
One can clearly hear the band’s influences – Bon Jovi, Jason Aldean and Keith Urban, in their original music. Catchy, accessible melodies under lyrics that everyone can relate to, these are songs that rock and move you! You can see Rye Road all over the south and central parts of Florida rocking audiences on both coasts.
About Sundays at The Bay
Sundays at The Bay is a free, outdoor weekly music and performance program offered at 6pm. Come to The Bay to experience a different local artist each week, from jazz, rock, genre fusion and marimbas to guitar and gospel.
RAIN OR SHINE: In the case of inclement weather, this event will move indoors to the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236)
Tips for an enjoyable visit:
- The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
- Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
- Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
- Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- Keep pets on a leash.
- Location changes or cancellations will be posted on Facebook, Eventbrite and on The Bay website approximately an hour before start time as the weather changes quickly.
