Support 19 Non-Profit Organizations at the Happy Hour of Giving | Giving Challenge Pop-Up Station at The Bay
Community members invited to sip, stay awhile and give during the Giving Challenge Pop-Up Station at The Bay: April 15 from 4:40-6:30pm

On April 15-16, from noon to noon, more than 700 nonprofits from Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties will be raising funds through the 2026 Giving Challenge, hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, with giving strengthened through The Patterson Foundation.
The Bay Park in Sarasota (The Bay) will, once again, encourage the community to come together during this year’s Giving Challenge, hosting the second-ever Pop-Up Station at The Bay, featuring 19 nonprofit community partners. The Happy Hour of Giving Pop-Up Station, which takes place Wednesday, April 15, 4:30-6:30 p.m., offers the opportunity for everyone in the community to connect with the nonprofits and learn how they create impact in areas ranging from recreation and environmental stewardship to visual and performing arts, education, journalism, and well-being for veterans and for all.
The organizations participating in the Pop-Up Station at The Bay are: Art Center Sarasota, The Bay Park Conservancy, Big Waters Land Trust, Dolphin Biology Research Institute, Education Foundation of Sarasota County, Minorities in Shark Sciences, Operation Warrior Resolution, Resilient Retreat, Sarasota Ballet, Sarasota Garden Club, Sarasota Opera Association, Sarasota Orchestra, Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation, Science and Environment Council, Suncoast Searchlight, Suncoast Therapeutic Equine Partners, Suncoast Waterkeeper, UnidosNow, and Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe.
Community members are invited to sip, stay awhile … and give. Those who donate $100 during the Pop-Up Station receive a complimentary all-day breakfast item (generously provided by Venice Pier Group – see restrictions on-site) at The Nest Café. Attendees can enjoy happy hour drink pricing at The Nest Café as well, while taking in live jazz by the Pine View Jazz Band from 5-6 p.m.
As the Pop-Up Station ends at 6:30 p.m., the free monthly Dancing with Donald program begins at The Bay, which features longtime Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Resident Choreographer Donald Frison. All ages and skills levels are welcome.
