The Bay Park Conservancy Rehabilitates and Relocates to the Historic Chidsey Library Building

The Bay Park Conservancy team just relocated into the recently-rehabilitated historic Chidsey Library Building. The Chidsey was originally built in 1941 and is one of four buildings at The Bay on the National Register of Historic Places.
Many thanks to partners Jon F. Swift Construction, Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors, and the many sub-contractors who brought their talents, patience and perseverance to ensure this “gem” in the Cultural District of the park got repurposed in a beautiful and useful way.
Watch Marty Hylton III, President, Architecture Sarasota, as he provides a sneak peak inside the Chidsey prior to opening to the public this October.
