Ikebana International Sarasota Chapter #115 presents their 54th anniversary exhibition, “Ikebana – The Japanese Art of Floral Design”

Ikebana is the 6th C. elegant art of Japanese floral design.  This art-form was introduced into Japan along with the advancement of Buddhism.  Ikebana International, an organization dedicated to “Friendship through Flowers”, was founded in 1956 with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

This special exhibition will be presented with some of the most beautiful arrangements by our Chapter members.  There will be demonstrations throughout the day, with some of the arrangements for purchase, a special Ginza shopping experience in a most beautiful setting among The Sarasota Garden Club Botanical Gardens.

This is open to the public; a small $5 donation is appreciated.
