Tour the newly opened Bay park with Chief Operating Officer, Bill Waddill
Participate in one of the 6 different types of walking tours on National Take a Walk in the Park Day to learn about and appreciate the features and beauty of The Bay.
Thanks to the generosity of New Balance – Sarasota and University Park, Fleet Feet Sarasota, and Molly’s… the first 150 people who register in advance and participate in any of the walks taking place on March 30 will receive a $10 Gift Certificate good at any of their stores in the community.
In addition, a raffle will be held at the end of the day’s events for all participants (whether registered in advance or not) for a few lucky park guests at The Bay to receive an additional $50 Gift Certificate to one of these locations. (Note: You do not need to be present to win 🙂
Tips for an enjoyable visit:
- Free Parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Food and beverages are available for purchase at The Nest concession.
- Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- Keep pets on a leash.
