Sundays at The Bay

Join us for our free weekly music and performance program offered every Sunday from November 7, 2021 – April 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm.  Bring a lawn chair to The Bay’s Civic Green on the north side of the Municipal Auditorium for free weekly concerts featuring local talent ranging from jazz and marimbas to guitar and gospel.

This week’s (12/5) performance: Rick Aaron, flute player, has been a fixture of the Milwaukee area music scene since the min-60’s.  Following in his family’s footsteps, the only decision about going into the family business meant which instrument to choose. Rather than compete with his father and uncle on saxophones and clarinet, or his grandfather on trumpet, Rick chose the flute and perfected his craft under the tutelage of Eldridge Meyer, Sam Baron, John Burgess, and Israel Borouchoff. Rick reminds us what a delight music can be when channeled through a player whose true instrument is his soul.
