Phase 1: April 5 Update

The Mangrove Bayou Walkway, the half-mile, 10-ft. wide sidewalk that winds around the coastal wetlands in The Bay Park, will officially open for public access on April 10. Once open, the Swift Construction team will continue work on Phase 1 of The Bay Park including the Kayak Launch, Reading Room, The Lawns and more. 

We appreciate the continued patience of our community as the city completes the construction to improve drainage on the south end corner of Van Wezel Way and Boulevard of the Arts.
