A great way to be green at the Bay and in Sarasota is by composting.
Join Sunshine Community Compost to learn about the benefits of composting and how to get started with composting at a city park compost station, your business, community group, or in your backyard!
*In the case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.
Tips for an enjoyable visit:
- Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
- Free Parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Food and beverages are available for purchase at The Nest concession.
- Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- Keep pets on a leash.
